I'm pretty sure Zepla's video is expressing the thoughts and opinions specifically of someone who's been playing the game for several years. When you've done all the older content, you want to keep occupied with the new stuff; and unfortunately, Endwalker just doesn't deliver as well as previous expansions. It's not bad, it's just not good either.
Possibly some truth in that. I started playing the game shortly after Endwalker's launch - in fact, I started right before the now (in)famous influx of WoW players occurred and was barely able to play at first as was on Free Trial status which, nine times out of ten, meant that I didn't even get to queue. I didn't manage to subscribe until they reopened the servers to doing so in the early months of the 2022.

So yeah, whilst I can see the points being made regarding Endwalker here, and think that it was a mixed-blessing myself, I guess I'm not at the 'burn out' point that longer-term players appear to have reached.
