Seriously, no part of this post of yours was NOT a derail. You didn't address the thread topic, you didn't address a discussion topic, all you did was address me, one of the posters, trying to continue the side-topic/derail about whether or not Snow is incorrectly interpreting things.

If you guys want to have that conversation - that DERAIL - you'll have to do it yourselves.

I think, if you only started playing up to or after Endwalker launch, you might not be the target audience for the video or this topic discussion. The game is good. Great, in fact, there are thousands and thousands of hours of content to keep you occupied.

I'm pretty sure Zepla's video is expressing the thoughts and opinions specifically of someone who's been playing the game for several years. When you've done all the older content, you want to keep occupied with the new stuff; and unfortunately, Endwalker just doesn't deliver as well as previous expansions. It's not bad, it's just not good either.

Zepla even said this in her second video reading the comments. There were lots of comments from new players saying this, and she basically said (paraphrase): That's good and I'm genuinely super happy for you. FFXIV is a great game, I absolutely encourage people to play it. I just wish it had more at the top end.

I think part of the problem was her naming the video "worst expansion" and her tone in the first video really, unfortunately, muddying the waters from her point. Her second video kind of redeems a lot of it, but people who want everyone to hate on the game kind of missed that.
