There are many other games that have also come out in the past ten years…

The only reason I’ve even played as much of this game as I have is exactly because the devs are explicitly prioritizing the experience of the new player’s journey through the game over the whims of the hardcore endgame raid meta.

Good for you, and it was done by sacrificing all the content for veterans in the game.
