I can't be the only one who finds Hildibrand lame

Greg summoned an Eikon from crystals that DIDN"T temper anybody or make a hole in the world and suck in aether uncontrollably. This is a MAJOR plot point dismissed as a joke.

That's the thing though - if you, like me, skip cutscenes because you don't find the usual, predictable, shenanigans funny you're liable to miss plot points like that.

I mean, I've tried gritting my teeth and watching with the skip button close at hand - and I really have tried; every time a new chapter in this questline comes out, I do my best to watch the cutscenes instead of skipping them. And every single time, I end up noping out about halfway through the first one so that I'm not exposed to the predictable cringe parade that is Hildi buried in the ground head first or Godbert running around in his underpants.

That's the thing though - if you, like me, skip cutscenes because you don't find the usual, predictable, shenanigans funny you're liable to miss plot points like that.

"I skip Hildibrand cutscenes, so I don't know this, and this is Hildibrand's fault."

I'm not going to say you're wrong for not liking Hildibrand's story and for skipping it as a result, but... well, what do you expect here? If you're skipping the story, you're willingly ignoring the entire story, and that includes the lore that's interesting. Do you want them to make Hildibrand cutscenes unkippable so you're forced to see the lore? For them to make a 'Hildibrand: Not Funny Version' so you can just get all the dry information without having to watch convoluted slapstick?

"Good parts" is subjective. I actually said that I generally grit my teeth and avoid skipping for the most part. In fact, I don't skip when the scenes don't involve the recycled slapstick routines.

I respect that you may find the humor in these quests funny - please respect the fact that I don't.
