I'm out getting lunch right now but plan to be on an hour from when I reply to this. I'll walk through and take in the sights.Wanna see a cool house? Visit my good fc friends house in Brimming Heart in the Goblet designed in a club style, Ward 17 Plot 46! Lunar Cry! Serenity FC (I'm the FC Master), plot 47 future bath house addition, is just next door and is under construction... hopefully she'll get back to finishing the deco inside and out soon! She is redoing the FC mansion on Siren at the moment and sadly even there is very busy doing things her main and alts needs everywhere.
Owned by crazy alts on the best server in Eorzea!
And I enter my houses pretty much daily to reset timers although currently finishing up Island Sanctuaries for my girls on Balmung. Hair styles for Viera are a priority!

I believe my house is also wrongfully demolished. No one believes me. I think a lot of people don't care enough to talk about this. It is a real thing.

Elaborate?
And it's not that people don't necessarily believe, it's just that 9/10 it was an error on the other person's part with the other 1/10 going to a bug that isn't confirmed to exist by any of the devs.
If you want to elaborate can try to see what case it is.
GM's most likely cant help you with such an issue, or they could send the request to overlord GMs in Japan, but until they look at it, the house is gone.
Had it happen once that the timer of the house showed it is up for demolition soon, eventhough I entered it a few days before. Not sure how that event was triggered. Didn't lose it, but still was strange.
Yes it is hard, a game shouldn't make you check for bugs and workarounds lol. It would be nice to see the timer display the days every time too, instead of only when it is the last days.

It's hard to believe when there hasn't been a single case where a player has proof that they definitely entered the house within 45 days. No screenshots taken in a house with their character equipped with gear that was released less than 45 days ago. No pictures of someone picking up new event furnishings from the resident caretaker npc less than 45 days since the event started. And no pictures of the demolition warning persisting whilst inside the house in question.
When you try and get more details, either the OP goes silent or ends up confirming it wasn't a bug.

Not having a screenshot makes sense considering the player usually isn't going to be aware when the bug happens. A screenshot after the house is already lost doesn't give useful information. It's hard to believe when there hasn't been a single case where a player has proof that they definitely entered the house within 45 days. I've encountered it twice now as a tenant in 2 other players' houses. I know for certain that the players had entered their house and that demo timer did not reset because it continued to appear as pending in both their and my Estate timers a couple of days later. Most players just assume that entering has successfully reset the demo timer and so don't think to double check it at that time. It's only when they see later that demo is still pending that they play closer attention.
One thing I would add would be that the bug (as far as we can tell) should only be negatively affecting players who enter their house infrequently and not those that are entering it on a regular basis. In the cases of both of my friends, they hadn't been able to play regularly due to RL issues. One had just finally gotten a replacement for his PS4 after a storm caused a leak in his roof that led to a lot of his electronics being destroyed by water damage. The other was dealing with the estate of a family member and had to make frequent trips out of state. Fortunately we caught the second one just before he was going back out of town for another 2 weeks.
When the last one happened, there were a few other players reporting their demo timers didn't reset after entering on the same day as my friend and as best we could tell within a couple of hours when he did. I suggested that they file a bug report with everyone affected adding their information to the report but I don't know if anyone ever did or what came of it if so. Being a tenant, I couldn't do much more than confirm I had witnessed my friend in his house a couple of days before he re-entered to reset the timer.
That's why some of us give the advice to not just enter the house (though that should be enough) but to also interact with something in it if you don't frequently enter your house. Interacting with an object seems to force the system to acknowledge entry.
Submitting the bug report still isn't going to help those who might have already lost their house to the bug, but at least it is information that SE can review for similarities if they get enough reports of houses lost after recent entry.
