The technical forums are specifically for client technical issues. That's it.
As for OPs issue, its likely that they just missed the window. SE has never made any announcement that there was a bug, and I can guarantee if there was such a thing it would have been posted about and documented on their end because that's a big PR nightmare if people's houses just started randomly relinquishing when they were using them.
I'm not sure where the issue tbh, I have cancelled auto demo so many times and never had any issues with it, I instantly get the pop up message in my chatbox telling me that it has been cancelled when I enter it, so I think we arent getting the full story here, also as long as you dont get the pop up message, its not cancelled.
