Considering how long it takes them to develop content for MMOs, I can't see the logic behind that explanation.

This game shouldn't have been released for another year, starting today. It just wasn't finished in any sense of the word. And all of the beta testers knew it.

No it was only announced as a Final Fantasy MMO at E3 in 2009 up until that point they just said it was another MMO, they even stated it may not be a FF MMO at one point when it was know as Rapture.

But then after 6 years in development why do we only have Leve's, Behest and a few Rank Missions as content. Quests that they added recently they said they made from scratch. Where are the chocobo's, airship's and other FF staples that have yet to be finished.

I really can't see how they took so long to make it and this is all they have to show for it unless they had to scrap most of the content to rework or rebuild it to fit in more with a Final Fantasy theme.
