    Required, no. You seem to be under some illusion that they are necessary to make a point, but they are not. On the other hand, making a concise point seems to require more firing neurons than what some are willing to dedicate.

    Honestly, for the most part, it's fine, but some people are under the impression that the problem is not with the text, but rather the person reading it. When the inverse is quite as easily true in the case. - Like come on, do you really need to use comparisons against aircraft flight to try and make the point of "Well I've raided in this game, therefore, I know how it all applies in other games".

    Frankly, I'm not entirely bothered but if people are going to treat reading on a forum, as if it's indicative of anything in the real world, especially with something like academic pursuits, it doesn't really apply, at all.
