Legitimate reasons why many of you do NOT like Gear Swapping

So you just want a less exciting game? Maybe arthritis? Maybe lethargic? You're telling me it's too much work to buy different sets of gears for different stats that are used depending on situations, and that it's too much work to create new macros for gears to be swapped during these situations, and that it's too much work to press another button to execute a macro that will gear swap..

This line of thinking is going to kill this game. You want a casual game for casual players, go play scrabble. Seriously.. I think there's more action in FF7... more action than a lethargic person can handle apparently.

Why bother to make macros to swap up stuff that take up inventory that could be used for other things? Do you really not see your lapse in logic here?

And I'd like to ask why you feel the need to attack me for no reason other then you might be allergic to the word 'casual'? I said it so you could understand why I wouldn't know the ins and outs of the materia system and if it would help with the gear swapping issue. Of which you gave absolutely no answer and instead decided to spew your vitriol my way for no good reason I can discern other then you need to perform some breathing exercises to calm yourself or something.

Casual players are not lazy or stupid, we simply take our sweet time doing things and like things like crafting/exploring the odd group leveling and dungeon crawling, we take in the world in our own time. It has nothing to do with the insults you threw at me. I hold no grudges towards others who have multiple classes to 50, great gear, do end game content or whatever, I simply answered a question that I have some experience with in another game and gave you my opinion. Have the courtesy to respect it even if you may not agree.

Oh and being a hardcore player does not mean embracing redundancy.
