Been having a blast with Remnant 2. Loved the first one and played the heck out of it with two friends. We've all been busy of late but been playing it when we can the last week and change. Such a fun game, even if I can't figure out how to dodge lasers a lot of times, lol. Love the lore and world, too. We just got to the end of the Laby and to our second world (not counting Laby) and are excited to see where it goes next. And I love supporting game companies I enjoy so they'll make more games, so this time went with the one preorder that also will have the 3 DLCs since I know I'm gonna want to get into those as well.

And like I said in the other thread, just follow the guidelines I gave you and there shouldn't be a problem with respect. You apparently found them too hard even though they were each very simple requests, but perhaps you can give them another look and change your mind.

You have called me a liar several time several times when i have discussed things you have no possible knowledge of, based on what you believe to be true and little else.

You do not know what raid experience I have, what games I have played, where I have been or what I have done because you personally refuse to believe it. You'd call me a liar if I told you I have met and extensively spoken to one of the major founders of Sierra Online back when it was called Coarsegold..but it happened.

Youd call me a liar if I told you I have sat in on conferences and been involved with MMO developement, including story writing. I have been into gaming a very very long time., going back to the late 80's, which included, I might add, sitting in on dev discussions on how crafting and gear progressions work.

But I did.

I submit that what you believe to be "fact"...and what is actually true, are two separate things.

I have said, and its an actual fact, that it doesnt matter what game it is, raiding and its mechanics share common principles and design processes. I didnt say it in one thread, btw, i said it in several.

So: In much the same way as it doesnt matter if you are flying a Cessna 180 or a 747, the principles of flight remain the same. Lift, drag, yaw, pitch, stalls, falls, navigation...the same physical principles that allow an aircraft to fly are identical.

The aircraft are larger, yes, but the same physical principle that allows a Cessna to get off the ground also applies in a multi engine jet aircraft. The same procedures as well, checklists, preflight, filing flight plans, weather reports, ATC communication protocols.

The next time you get on a jet, remember that your Captain and First Officer started their careers at the controls of a Piper Cub, a Cessna, a single engine Beechcraft, even a Tiger Moth.

I dont have to have raided in FF 14 to not understand raiding as a whole. That is where you didnt understand..or listen. At its core, raiding in MMOs is more or less universal, sharing basic concepts and processes.

Loot, lockouts, weekly currency caps, mechanics are all the same in terms of intent and scope. The actual mechanics themselves vary, I grant you, but in the long run, its the same show at a different venue.

On that subject, and for the record, I have said repeatedly been there, done that, got the t shirt , dont care for that hamster wheel anymore. Sooner or later you get sick of it, or decide that that time commitment is better used elsewhere. Im not the only one either, there are many just like me who have had enough and prefer other activities.

How this comes as a surprise to anyone, I dont know.
