Or there are a large number of players who stay subbed because they enjoy playing every now and then, and are not forced to play every day by the reward systems. Those players also know next to absolutely nothing about who produces the game, although a couple of them might have watched a Live Letter once or twice.

My bet is this is a better explanation: "Coming back to play after being away from the game for a few weeks or months is relatively easy" vs "the raiding scene forces players to stay subbed in order to keep up".
