    They'll just continue to do what they've always done, and gut the early game a little more so they can have new buttons to press at the new cap. Level 70 and 80 will feel a lot worse so that level 100 can feel really good for people on playstation and xbox controllers.

    I’ve never understood why people claim buttons are limited because of cross hotbars, cross hotbars have 48 skill spots that are easily accessible which is far beyond even the most button heavy class

    If anything it’s limited to 40 at a max for 4 regular hotbars rather than being limited by cross hotbars

    By big fear is the exact opposite.
    Button bloat is not a problem, the people who its a supposed problem for don't need to press all their buttons to clear the content they do.

    buttons for the sake of buttons isnt fun. especially when 90% of them lack any weight or impact.
    PVP is a vastly different beast from pve.
    If we had 3 buttons to press in pve when fights are 7-11 minutes long? raids would be so dead so fast, and i would quit personally

    i kinda feel like SE made monk Dragon Kick rotation a thing because of this. the optimal dmg rotation ignored most of these combo paths to just dragon kick spam

    Nah, black mage will get a new high damage finisher button.

    Summoner will get completely redesigned so it doesn't even feel like the same job anymore.

    wrong forum for that opinion. People here practically drool over two more DPS jobs. they'll remove all dps skills from the jobs, give the best ones to the new jobs so they are shiny and powerful.. and the rest get redistributed to the older dps jobs. I would rather they forgo the new jobs, and try and add in more job identity than just what soul crystal you have equipped, which seems to be the direction they are heading.
