Chocobo Only. Others have no place in FF Universe, Sorry.Which monsters from any of the FF games would you like to see as a mount in the future? Ground or flying mount.
I would like to see Behemoth as an end game rare mount.
Or Even Shiva from XIII
what about you?
Edit: And don't say just chocobos, we already got a mount that isn't that and Yoshi-P confirmed flying mounts and other coming in 2.0 or after. It's already been decided, so if you had to chose, which would it be?
I wouldn't mind chocobo breeding like ff7, ones with different colors and speed. Maybe add in racing later on ^^
They added chocobo breeding and racing in FFXI. You could get several different colors. However it was pretty boring and nobody does it now. Was probably the biggest waste of dev time ever.
Well, Chocobos as battle companions (taking on the FFXI role of NPC fellows), and as pack animals (portable storage) will making breeding and raising a very key part of this game.
But I agree, there really wasn't much of a point to the FFXI's breeding system unless you focused on racing -- which didn't really offer players anything useful for the rest of the game.
Adamantoise turtles from the easter event.
because...y'know, the drake wasn't a mount in ff:V or anything.
oh, and the multiple parts in ff:vi where you rode around in magitek armor.
and I'm sure airships ONRY too. lets not forget the blue whale in FF:IV, and I could be mixing it up with lufia. but I'm pretty sure one had a submarine.
...and XIII, but I won't even get into that.
