FFXIV mounts

I can't believe you people. The point of this thread was not to ask if we should or shouldn't have extra mounts, that decision was taken by S-E months ago. It's happening so live with it. What i'm asking is what you would like to see other then chocobos? You know, maybe S-E will pick from one of the popular choices and we won't have to live with another ugly Gobbue mount.

Well that's my fear. I would recommend something good but I don't want SE to then think I am condoning their stupid monster mounts.

They are doing it regardless of what you suggest or scream "just chocobos!" Might as well get something you might slightly enjoy then something completely annoying don't you think? I think that by now we got it that S-E is not changing their mind on features they have already decided on. It would be a waste of time and resources to scrap something they already started work on.

Which monsters from any of the FF games would you like to see as a mount in the future? Ground or flying mount.

I would like to see Behemoth as an end game rare mount.

Edit: And don't say just chocobos, we already got a mount that isn't that and Yoshi-P confirmed flying mounts and other coming in 2.0 or after. It's already been decided, so if you had to chose, which would it be?

This is why people hate on FF11 players. they are so stuck in their ways that anything new or different is wrong. different mounts in a game that already has different mounts is not something to argue over.

Why spend time putting other animals/mobs to ride when time should be spent on breeding chocobos and getting different kinds and stuff. Chocobos rule.

yeah the goobue mount was cool for all of 2 minutes its to big and the camera doesn't pan off it far enough to easily control where you going.

and yes i support chocobos onry they are going to be able to breed, color, armor, speed/str builds... that is awesome... and flying mount is stupid they will only allow you to flying like 5 feet off the ground big whoop.

That discussion ended when they decided to add Ahriman and Gobbue and now everyone just wants to make it stop.
