Actually yes, people not buying off the mog station would "magically improve the quality of in game items" because they wouldnt make items just for people not to buy them, they'd have to put them in game or leave them in a decrepit store with no one buying the items, which means they would eventually end up in the game as in game reward.

It's delusional to think the items on the store would find a happy home somewhere in the game. Would some things like mounts would? Maybe. However a lot of those nice outfits wouldn't have been made in the first place as they were made with the entire intention to sell them. Also we don't know what all the store funding is for. If it results in employees not being hired to cut costs then no, content is not being improved. This tlrabbit hole is to deep for anyone to correctly figure out. You're allowed to be upset at the lack of content in the game. You're allowed to be upset at the price of the items and the frequency of them. But don't take it out on others because we decided to buy.

Love how they think buying off like a whale (which they admitted to do) from the mog shop is okay, but when its in game reward from ranked it's not ok to have any sort of reward from playing it

I am still not sure how the fanfest thing works. Is the mount time-imited to buy?, because if so, that just makes it even worse throwing FOMO in the mix

I'm very mixed about this... the mount is completely optional, and I'd never buy it, as I don't find it appealing in the slightest, other than Alpha being cute, but that's hardly worth $30+

On the other hand, not only do I know I have no right to tell people what to do with their own money (and I very much think anyone doing that is rather silly), but I also couldn't care less what people do with said money.
I think every Mog Station mount is a bit overpriced, but because all of them are optional, I'm very meh about the whole thing.

I'd permanently take $10 off every mount on the shop.

On the other hand something IS WRONG with the EU price.

an account mount costs 3300 yen. This mount costs 4070/3663 yen = 23% more
in EUR it costs 32/28,8 EUR vs 21 EUR = 52% more
in USD it costs 37/33,3 USD vs 29,99 USD = 23% more

I HOPE they fix the EU price TODAY, let's say 25-26 EUR - 11% discount -> 22/23 EUR

The price of a fanfest mount is AROUND +20% of a similar mogstation mount.
