GW2 and any others I missed just don’t hit the same retention as WoW and 14 does… so yeah the MMO space is a bit weird at the moment. But I do agree that I honestly will see a demographic shift in 7.0. A lot of the foundational work and QoL leads me to believe they’re going to be changing something long term… guess we will see in some capacity in 5 days.
I was - and to an extent still am - looking forward to Blue Protocol. I'm just bitterly disappointed that the Western version is being handled by Amazon. Especially after the sort of changes that they introduced to Lost Ark.

Ashes of Creation is promising a lot of things that intrigue me, though whether it delivers on those promises and intended goals remains to be seen. I'm cautiously optimistic, though many MMO's have an unfortunate habit of squandering their potential, creating scandals or just making unnecessary missteps.

I mostly bounce between ESO and WoW at the moment. I'm hoping 7.0 goes back to 'classic fantasy' roots but I'm not holding my breath.
