    EW wasn't a mistake. I don't wanna grind for relics. 1500 tomes is fine because I can get a weapon for all my classes very easily. I don't need complexity I need a shiny complex-styled weapon.

    This is called a tome weapon, and that's why they exist, for those who do not choose the relic grind. Making this relic grind basically nothing is a slap in the face to a large portion of the player base and just plain lazy development imo.
