Yes I agree respect is a two way street, but if you're just going to resort to childish levels of "I'm gonna get this poster I hate!" then you might as well not even respond instead of twisting what the person says or, you know, doing the thing you are against.

Edit: As an aside I took a peek at some of Stormpeaks more recent discussions and this Stormpeaks seems fine to me. Wish I knew this Stormpeaks months ago. So maybe there is somthing to taking things one day at a time. She (he?) seems like any other poster so maybe I'm a bit outdated.

To Stormpeaks: I'm sorry I called you a troll in the past. I honestly thought that was your intentions. While things can get heated and we don't often agree, it doesn't make you a troll. I am able to own up to something I said or my own behavior that was wrong, so I can say that.

This is a very good way to go about things. I typically try to be open minded to other people (not to the point of denying objective truth and reality, but as much as I can otherwise) but there are definitely a few posters on the forums that have given me a reason not to.

If we're sticking to old school biblical references, let's go with "you reap what you sow". I understand Stormy now, so I don't personally have any issues with her, but don't pretend she hasn't given as much nastiness as she's gotten.

The kinds of people who react to posters like Stormpeaks have a tendency to react in a manner that far exceeds how problematic the original post they're reacting to was. (assuming it really ever even was in the first place) Perhaps the saying should be "you reap what you sow, and then some more for good measure"

I do wish that the forums in general would stop flinging around the word 'troll' so flippantly and save it for the people who are actually trolls. Perhaps this post here can serve as an example for others to follow.

No hard feelings, glad you took a look at my latest discussions with people to see that you had the wrong idea at least to some extent, I am not the nicest poster on the forums, nor do I claim that lol, but my posts are actually not trolling, I have strong opinions and I defend them but I do think thats fair : p

It's on me as well. I can be very stubborn and takes quite a bit to change my mind once it's set - but I was being overly dismissive of what you were actually saying. It's easy when someone (in this case me) is doing that to get irritated. I am glad I understand you more now and sorry again for unfairly judging you for too long.
