Those PLD tips were pretty solid, I hope they were helpful for OP. Only thing I might add is that it might be helpful to think of Intervene as a defensive cooldown, since it'll grant you Sword Oath and therefore healing.
For general tips @ OP I would definitely say learn to manage your universal cooldowns, ie Guard, Purify, Sprint, and Recuperate. You don't have to reflexively Purify any and all crowd control--only crowd control that would cost you your life or prevent you from securing a kill. Sprint is a short GCD, so don't lock yourself out of buttons if the timing/distance doesn't warrant a sprint. Recuperate should always be used for its full 15k heal value, but don't hold it too long. The ideal balance for skirmishing is 7500 MP (taking advantage of passive MP regen) and ~90% HP. Obviously all bets are off when it comes to all out brawling, but do be aware of your MP and try to sneak in a Standard-Issue Elixir whenever time allows. Staying topped up and managing Recuperate makes a huge difference over time.
Buddy, guy, pal. I think you might need to work on your reading comprehension. I never doubted that you at least have job knowledge--I was suggesting you start learning players as an additional thing. We've played together a lot more than "two or three times" in the past week alone LOL. This is what I mean by you not paying attention to your matchup pools. Know who you're playing against, what their main jobs are, what their habits are, how they like to position during map openings, etc.
A week would be more than enough for you to see that a) I know how to play PLD, and b) you don't know how to play BRD. And none of the players currently in T30 have over 500 wins, let alone T10? The highest is 434, and they're at Rank 15. There's some miscommunication going on here. Also BRD isn't a hard carry job--even the best BRD on Primal (which is arguably me) can't save a match where our PLD repeatedly tries to commit to losing fights bc he seems to think Crystal contest uptime is more important than allowing our dead to respawn and regroup. BRD is a force multiplier job, and I can't multiply negatives into positives. If you think "best BRD on Primal" is a tall claim, I'm the ONLY BRD main on Primal currently in T30, and the only T100 player to stick to BRD as a main after the 6.4 nerfs.
And I never moved any goal posts. I said, and I quote, "most of the players below rank 50 have parked the bus and don't even play anymore." You have a post quoting me as saying exactly that. Idk about you, but 32 out of 50 seems like "most" to me.
