And sure, tell me to git gud while you're at it like everybody else on the damn forum. PLD is impossible to climb with compared to other jobs. The fact that it's a team game where nobody wants to work together obviously shows that Ranked is an utter shite show and should be shut down.

Don't think too much how others see you, nobody judges you for taking longer than others to climb out of Bronze. Though I agree, the typical "get good" comment does not do well to support how to play Paladin in lower ranks. In low rank / casual you may need to play wholly different than what guides and high-profile Paladins tell you.

Regarding PLD:

• in low ranks the value of Cover-Guard is minimal as most teammates don't utilise this well. Keep your Cover usage to a minimum to where it actually matters to keep someone alive rather than consistently searching for opportunities to let someone Elixir.
• play more aggressive and be selfish with mitigation. While Paladin doesn't do the greatest damage, it does a lot of consistent damage and has decent tools to stay in a fight.
• consider using "Sheltron Bombing" for a burst engagement. Pre-pop Sheltron, wait until just before it goes off and dash onto an opponent. it may look something like this:
  
  Holy Sheltron -> wait 3s -> Confiteor -> Intervene -> Shield Bash -> Atonement
  .
• keep track of enemies who recently used Purify and make them your next Shield Bash target, do a callout + timer macro for added measure
• figure out who in your match is the most worthwhile to tag along for pocketing with Guardian and assisting in what they are doing with Shield Bash stun and Confiteor heals, better if you make a mistake with someone together than going too hard on doing your own thing

PLD from unrank to crystal is do-able but its immense suffering, if youre gonna try it then you'll need try different playstyles to compensate with team skill or lack thereof

PLD is one of the strongest jobs in the game right now. Do you want tips? I've seen you around and it's pretty clear that your play pattern/mindset is still stuck in high plat/low diamond

It's hard to pick another job because someone told me I should try PLD and run it. I don't really know much else other than BLM - and I doubt it's a carry.

BLM is also one of the hardest carry jobs in the game rn. You saying this tells me that you have next to no job knowledge, so I'm gonna give you some advice. If you want to climb, first understand the rules of the game, especially the overtime rules. You don't have to throw your body onto the crystal in 50/50 overtimes, for example--that's something that I still see getting messed up in diamond and crystal.

Next, it doesn't really matter what job you pick, especially at low ranks. Read all of your tooltips, and become mechanically proficient and consistent with one or two jobs. Try to hop on the official pvp job guide and read the tooltips for all the other jobs too, so you at least roughly understand what your matchups are and what is available to other players.

And honestly that's it. I don't know what your goals are, but if you do nothing but become mechanically stable on one job, you can easily make it to plat.

Edit: hopped on an alt, brand new to pvp (actually had to go unlock it), booted up PLD. I'm telling you, just practice your rotation/combos, set up your hotbars to be comfortable for you, and you should easily be able to dominate lower ranks.

I wouldnt say its the strongest but thats a matter of opinion also while i appreciate your offer itd be more convincing were i to face you as an opposing PLD which i have yet see from the one or two matches ive seen you from unless my memory escapes me, as for your comment on my skill/pattern/mindset well some days are better than most and i imagine if it were the case then i wouldnt have been(1st attempt from unranked) as well as remaining in T100 (currently)

The only thing Ryan could do better is pick his fights. There were a lot of times when he just ran in and gave me free kills in plat but we all have something we do that isn't the best. The fact that he covers and uses cover macros puts him leagues above most of the PLD population. It never hurts to help but that's a bit condescending don't you think?

my guy im active in this season not just sitting, also my point was that i made it to t100 S6 on my 1st attempt and continue to keep climbing as i was in the 90's last week and jumped to 76 also i would say that below 50 arent just sitting, considering the daily update list disproves your assertion, and of course you say something regarding getting carried from the bench of a ranged player pov

as for this ^ by all means use your proficiency in the reverse then id take your example with more validity

as far as im aware we've had limited encounter like one or two not exactly to be considered "consistently" , and there is no we its just you spamming and lastly not every match you lose is some elses fault
