by removing the bonus they would have to rework all the mobs in the game, there hp, evasion and all stats will b so high u wont b able to kill them, imagine a HNM u cant hit, where would the fun in that be?
The encounters are balanced with there being a full party buff. Simply removing the buff does not mean more difficult battles. Future encounters would be balanced with there not being a full party buff. The result is a zero net change in difficulty.
The ONLY thing that determines difficulty, is the developers arbitrary choice of mechanics and gameplay elements incorporated into a specific encounter.
I'm all for making fights a bit longer, as exp fights are way too short, rate of exp is fine.
Removing full and light party bonuses would technically make fights longer and a bit harder but I don't think it's the way to go because as a system it's a nice reward for filling you party.
remove bonus increase darklight drops.
Well that sums up my entire post above, you just don't understand that people are different than you.
Some people find reward in a sense of "Achievement" and I'll leave it at that because you obviously don't care what anyone thinks if it's not in your closed little world.
No. FFXI was gear based, but it worked. In FFXIV, the idea you are proposing will be materia based. Having good materia gear doesn't revolve around being able to kill x enemy y amount of times and being good at the game. No. Having good materia gear revolves around you A) Having a lot of money and B) having high craft classes or being able to pay A LOT for people to meld it for you.
Essentially, the idea you are proposing is an unnecessary time sink that will just lead to more elitism (as if we don't have enough of that already) and I for one do not approve of your idea.
Healer strike is ridiculously foolish and accomplishes nothing
Maybe Rokien is Gifthorse?ah its been awhile matey ^^.
I don't care what people think when they start demanding others cater to their play style by removing game mechanics, you're right.
