You are a special type of masochistA less joking answer, I think both have a subjectively different/equal amount of time disrespect if that makes any sense. Raids this expansion have felt incredibly disrespectful to the time investment, especially when you get horribly designed later phases that also just have bugs at launch when the game has traditionally not had them. Meanwhile PvP has times where you can get hardstuck in a certain rank for a while and not having any clear way for you to get out of that rut. Granted though, that's more of a problem with PvP in games overall rather than XIV's PvP specifically. If I had to choose, i'd rather do ranked with complete randoms with some attempt to least win a fight with my own skill than just depend on several other people to do Death of the Heaven's correctly and not die to the team jump rope mechanic.
I prefer to have control who i que with, at least in ultimates you can have that.
