Queer representation in media matters, whether it's fiction or non-fiction. Period.Which is SUPER pointless cuz no they're not gay. They're not real. They're made up cartoons for a videogame. They have no lives, no inner thoughts, no desires or dreams and aspirations. They quite literally cannot be gay because they aren't real and possess no Free Will. They are a representation of the artists intentions and goals for that said character. The artist might be gay, but cartoon drawings can't be and aren't.
Edit : I'm starting to get a little concerned that humans in general are losing touch with reality in an attempt to escape from the drudgery of existence. But allowing ones self to devolve into having emotions for, against, or about cartoon/videogame characters is highly disturbing. THEY AREN'T REAL.
