SE being a profit driven company doesn't want to risk alienating too many paying customers, and that unfortunately includes the bigots. So from their standpoint the best action would be no action. Yup. Thats why when media groups do voice support for LGBTQ+/BLM stuff its almost always because they think such a stance are more profitable. Its why the second there is a hit of falling shares, large scale boycott or the wind changing to the opposite direction they will throw such advocates into the garbage without a second thought. All big companies like SE care about is money, be it from LGBTQ+ folk or bigots.
