Everything I hear about Blizzard these days reminds me of why I don't buy their products anymore.Soldier 76 was done so dirty.... If you mention this on their forums they will suspend you instantly. The damage control is going on full on the Overwatch forums. I went over, left the page up, and then checked on the topic creators an hour later. So many were suspended for a week when they didn't even break any of the TOS. All they brought up was the Pride event being banned in certain countries and why they made Pharah gay then ignored Tracer and Soldier 76 - especially Soldier 76.
That's why I think it's better that FF14 has LGBT characters but isn't trying to parade them around during Pride Month to make it look like they care when many of those that do don't care.
why are people calling you a troll? i respect this question, i got into this game because of the queer community. people are being unnecessarily rude
Because the OP is a known multi-account owning induvial that posts inflammatory antagonistic threads to rile people up against each other. Using each induvial account to post on the forums pretending to be another person. Most commonly hot button subjects regardless of topic and theme with the sole intention of starting internet drama. This also applies to necroing ancient threads that haven't been posted in for years if they fit whatever given message the OP feels like pushing at that time. Finally, the OP has on several multiple different occasions admitted to being a troll from their own mouth. It is highly uncertain to the community viewing the content if the OP genuinely believes half of anything they actually say.

Gays, lesbians, trans, etc live they lives normally nowadays. Not a single one of them need the help of a rainbow movement to represent them in media/tv/movies..
Maybe, just maybe you could open your eyes to reality.
There is still much hate for the LGBTIA+ community and there are a lot of parts of the world where they don't have the same rights and some where the sexuality in itself is punishable, sometimes even by death.
Parading those people around and acting for a month like they are special and "more" than straight people is not the right way imho
Will put you on ignore if you can't form a logical argument but argue nonetheless
Doing an event is not parading around, its to celebrate not being oppressed, shown we exist and fight for equality. That's what pride is about. If you dont underdrand that, do a little history hour on stonewall. There is still much hate for the LGBTIA+ community and there are a lot of parts of the world where they don't have the same rights and some where the sexuality in itself is punishable, sometimes even by death.

As long as people like you exist that downplay lgbtqs right of existence in any way, then it is necessary to demonstrate and show you that these rights outweigh your opinion
Sick and tired of the lgbtq agenda being shoved down your throat? Get used to it cause we are not going anywhere.
Yes we are not. I just don't like the image it creates with people. That some are of more worth. Look around online on right wing sides. This is how those people feel. This is how it starts. We are heading towards more segregation than ever before. How am i downplaying LGBTQ rights? You are a joke.Doing an event is not parading around, its to celebrate not being oppressed, shown we exist and fight for equality. That's what pride is about. Bonus: How about you give a talk about how a pride event in FFXIV helps LGBTQI in any way. What is it good for? But hey: it's june! Let all companies wear rainbows and then forget about everything until next June. That solves everything!

Which is SUPER pointless cuz no they're not gay. They're not real. They're made up cartoons for a videogame. They have no lives, no inner thoughts, no desires or dreams and aspirations. They quite literally cannot be gay because they aren't real and possess no Free Will. They are a representation of the artists intentions and goals for that said character. The artist might be gay, but cartoon drawings can't be and aren't.
Edit : I'm starting to get a little concerned that humans in general are losing touch with reality in an attempt to escape from the drudgery of existence. But allowing ones self to devolve into having emotions for, against, or about cartoon/videogame characters is highly disturbing. THEY AREN'T REAL.

Do what thou will shall be the whole of the Law.
If you think going to a gay pride is fighting for equality and again oppression, then you are sadly deluding yourself.Doing an event is not parading around, its to celebrate not being oppressed, shown we exist and fight for equality. That's what pride is about. If you dont underdrand that, do a little history hour on stonewall.

You are just going to a street party, nothing more, nothing less.
