Keep in mind that Blizzard generally releases all WoW patch content at once while SE spreads it out over several weeks. We won't have all the 6.4 content until 6.45 is released.

Call me weird, but I like the FFXIV "Drip Fed Content" System.
We get half the content now, and the other half a little later each Major Patch It helps spread things out, I do / grind out the 1st half of content, and then I can look foreword to and get hyped about the next batch of content. And this way I dont get overwhelmed and have to decide to hard about what to do.

Eh, I wouldn't want to compare wow patches to ff14 patches at this point since wow seems to be doing pretty big patches at a decent interval so far. That being said YMMV with it as they made some dumb changes in the new zone they added so that you can't spam rare spawns anymore for upgrade items or gear and if you aren't a fan of raiding outside of LFR or doing mythics obviously you will say there isn't much to do there. But that is the same argument made here so *shrug*

Also 6.45 probably won't be here for a couple months as well, so I struggle to count that as content for the patch right now as we have to wait till July/August to see it. After it's released, sure go for it.

WoW is kinda doing the drip feed stuff now as their next major in between patch is going to be the "mega-dungeon" patch which will add some new mythic dungeons to the game.

It would make more sense if ESO was a p2p mmo and not a b2p mmo thats constantly thrown away for 10 bucks on steam. Go compare it to WoW and FF14 content looks like a bad joke. And even then - im playing THIS game not another game. I dont care if another game is good, bad or equal. I want THIS game to be the best it can be and not have people like you defend it at every step.

Because they're disjointed systems, where a complete house with an actual garden is still not accessible, requires a subscription. I'm glad they made it better with Island Sanctuary, but it's still pretty bad.

Its not as bad as it used to, and like I said they seem to be finally working on this crutch. Realistically, gardening isnt a selling feature for housing. Being able to decorate and use your collected furnishings is the biggest selling feature and with the recent update that allows non-house owners to finally use outdoor furnishing is pretty big and its going to get improved more as time goes on. This excuse is starting to wane.

I'm not saying current housing is good, its not. But compared to before, it not that bad.

Variant and Criterion. After that 4 months we get another alliance raid and then another Variant and Criterion, and of course MSQ, a trial and its extreme version.

Yeeeaahh, but it's still a FOMO design. You wanna be on a server with your pals? Oh server's out of Apartments? I mean most aren't full, but still. It's pretty shitty system that I think we can just do without tbh.

We're doing the bare minimum now that we have Island Sanctuary, but gardening and FC housing systems are still very much FOMO.

Getting there though.. Here's to hoping things get even better with 7.0.

I am struggling to comprehend how not rushing = rank 15 island in 8 days. I am only rank 13, and that is with the exp bonuses of finishing the available quests, upgrading 3 buildings so far, and keeping my workshop maxed out. Pretty sure there was some pretty hefty grind my face to the wheel farming going on there. Otherwise, tell me your secrets lol.

It's called Exp Explosion. 2 Weeks before Patch you order your Workshop to do stuff for the next 2 weeks and then you leave that Workshop alone, till after the Patch. That gives a whole Level + some exp. Then Upgrade your Buildings + Quests gives a lot Exp too. The rest is normal Crafting Food / Restrains / Farming (I did that 1-2 Hours max. since last Patch). With Level 15 you get a 4th Workshop + you can upgrade all other Buildings and do the Quests after that you are by Level 15 3/4 and nearly done, just get the last Exp from your Workshops. So I was maybe 3,5 Hours on my Island since the last Patch. 2 Hours Farming and Crafting + 1 Hour Dekorating and some afk time there.

So, another post where someone runs runs runs to do it all fast fast fast...then complains that they're done. Well, other people actually have lives and jobs, so they can't play all day. You'll just have to wait.

I mean, MSQ was 1 hour max with cutscenes, ex trial took ~3 hours to clear, Normal raids took around an hour (2 if you include cutscenes and story) and Island sanctuary is hit and miss for me personally, but i'm halfway to rank 15 doing literally nothing but workshop.

Outside of Savage, that only means there was ~6 hours content this patch, add in 1 hour over the last week for island sanctuary.

that's less than an hour a day playtime buddy, but i guess you need to add in 3 hours afking in limsa and not actually doing anything productive to inflate that playtime.
