So, another post where someone runs runs runs to do it all fast fast fast...then complains that they're done. Well, other people actually have lives and jobs, so they can't play all day. You'll just have to wait.- MSQ done
- Pandemonium done
- New Dungeon done
- Island Sanctuary Level 15,5, all Buildings Upgraded + all Quests done
- New Craftable Gear 4 Jobs done, Materials for the last 3 Gears already farmed
- Frontline Series Level 11
This is way to less content for 4 Months, in 2 Months we get for Blue Mages some new Spells + 10 Levels, Manderville Weapon upgrade and that's all for the next 4 Months?
I swear if 7.0 brings not a fat chunk of Story + more Content then I will be sad and mad. Even WoW has more content right now.

I played not all day and I did it super slow, otherwise I had posted this 5 days ago.
Someone call the Forum Police! Because I wrote passive aggressively that DT looks not good. Oh how right I was!
I mean, MSQ was 1 hour max with cutscenes, ex trial took ~3 hours to clear, Normal raids took around an hour (2 if you include cutscenes and story) and Island sanctuary is hit and miss for me personally, but i'm halfway to rank 15 doing literally nothing but workshop.
Outside of Savage, that only means there was ~6 hours content this patch, add in 1 hour over the last week for island sanctuary.
that's less than an hour a day playtime buddy, but i guess you need to add in 3 hours afking in limsa and not actually doing anything productive to inflate that playtime.

Well, if your 'life' is 'max playing FFXIV till you run out of content', sure. If that's your life, I pity you. And if you don't like how they're doing it, go play something else. No one's got a gun to your head forcing you to pay the sub for XIV.

Them adding more content doesn't change that for you
The devs are not your friends, we pay them with a monthly sub to get content worth that 12$ a month
If that piddly $12 that I make before I even take a drink of coffee in the morning is a big deal for you, as it seems you're complaining about it, you can just stop paying it. No one's forcing you to play the game. Easy, no problem. Have a nice time.

A very toxic mentality to have, that kills games.
I still enjoy the game but there is clearly a severe lack of content and this sticking your head in the sand like an ostrich doesn't help anyone.
Runs all that fast? It's possible to complete almost everything the OP listed (well, idk about Sanctuary stuff because I don't mind it) in a week of casual play. Even if you read story text at a sluggish pace.
The only real thing that can keep somene engaged for a long time is Savage raiding prog.
As much as I like XIV, it's true that this expansion does not have 'midcore content' that is good enough to keep people invested at, and I like to keep thinking that this is due to bigger things being worked on for 7.0 while also FF16. You can't really expect YP to come out and say "Hey people, the EW patches are going to be very basic because we're using the manpower for the next expansion, look forward to it.".
