SE please stop making mounts and glams inaccessible

Why not just make those gears sellable via MB?

Removes the reason for players to repeat the content and makes it harder for those looking for their first time clears to get groups if they're starting late in the patch.

Increases RMT activity and creates a P2W atmosphere.

FFXIV is a game people play for fun, it is not a job. If players want to do savages its because they want to do that kind of content. Yeah you could give them titles and achievements as rewards. High iLvl gear would make sense too as it would make doing the savage content also more efficient. There are plenty of people who do savages and ultimate for that kind of reward as it is now.

Until some other fool screams and bashes their rattle for the title and/or gear that sounds/looks cool.

The mount looks like a repurposed cash shop mount. Like, I know tastes are subjective and all that, but it seems tonally divorced from the other mounts so far and from the theme of the raid in general; I have no idea why it's in this raid at all, or why anyone is sad about not getting it in the first place. Mount farmers are difficult for me to understand. Like... They'll run an extreme trial 100 times to buy the mount outright, but then spend all their time in Limsa unable to even use it, and when they finally do go into the open world, they'll hop onto a different mount entirely. Is it just a compulsive drive to collect??

Anyway, just give it a few months. With how predictable SE has been, and with how many people have lost sleep over this genuinely hideous monstrosity, I'm sure they'll just release a 37 dollar account-wide reskin of it in the cash shop before 7.0 drops.

I'm not saying I want them to give it out for free. My suggestion would be for it to be put behind accessible content. For example an axolotl could have been put behind something like fishing achievements.

I enjoy mount farming but will only farm mounts that are locked behind content I enjoy. I love running EX trials, deep dungeons, savage, Eureka/Bozja, etc. so I have a good time farming for those mounts. As for stuff I don't like doing like crafting or PVP, I just don't farm for those, even if it's one I like. (and I don't complain when mounts I want are behind something I don't enjoy because I can just get on Ozma or my mentor mount or Bozja bike instead. Not all content needs to be made for me.) For me it's more about the journey than the destination. Like right now I'm working on getting my 99 totems from the new EX with a group of friends and we're having a lot of fun so it's worth the 50 runs to do it.

As for the Axolotl, imo it's a pretty boring and unexciting mount for the reward of the final savage tier this expac. I personally won't really be using it when I clear the tier because last tier's mount was cooler.

Savage tier is accessible, you just gotta involve yourself with it, if you don't do savage, well no mount for you!

Besides alot of these things that is cool is barred behind massive things.... but would you have been more happy if it was barred behind 10000 hoards found by accident in any of the Deep Dungeons? Because you kind of need to add it somewhere, where it just as much hurts... or behind 15000 commendations or something?

Before I say this realize as per my other posts I am fine with this being locked to savage which I am physically incapable of doing.

What about a recolor put in the game (not identical) behind just the sort of grind you outline? I would be fine with that because at least it would be doable. The work doesn't phaze me at all.

Though honestly the fact I can't get the original is sad to me but not something I am going to get upset about.
