SE please stop making mounts and glams inaccessible

If anything, they need to do this more often and even take it further. I don't raid at all, I'm old and bad with not enough free time now, but if I were really into raiding?? Rewards like this would be everything to me. It'd make me so excited to go in, and make it all feel super worth it. When it comes to XIVs tougher content, I've always felt like the rewards are super lacking. So. I hope they add in way cooler/cuter things to further incentivize people to get into raiding and reward those that do a lot better.

How 2023 of you to use disabilities as a reason to be handed rewards without earning them. The entire point of this trophy mount is to show others with one glance that you have done savage as there is no other way to get it.

I get that they want to reward players able to defeat hard content, but then why not provide them with unique titles or high iLvl gear thats useful for the content they are doing?

Gear is no longer useful if you've already cleared the final boss of the expansion, duh. How about you go get some titles from easier content? I'm sure you've not gotten them all.

You don't get what a disability is do you. I can start 'working on it' but that is never going to get me past my limitations. Tell someone in a wheelchair to start working on walking.

If you can't do savage you won't get the mount for now. So what? It's better to come to terms with your limitations than make these embarrassing requests for free stuff. The world is full of really cool things most people will never have because they are unable to do what's required. Disabled people aren't the only ones who have to accept not being able to get everything they want.

I know it's a shitty bait thread, but it's hilarious how many people feel entitled to receive the good and cute stuff for free with no effort at all. I say SE needs to do this much more often, either get to doing savage to earn it or wait til next expansion to unsync it.

Mao just wants clear up some things here. Is many kinds disabilities. Some nots prevent peoples from raiding. Some do. In case of Mao, is severe Resting Tremor Syndrome. Is so bad that within seconds of any activity with keyboard or mouse, Mao starts shakings and within 10 minutes the shakings so severe that Mao can't even press keys or mouse buttons. Some days better than others and on those days Mao can do little bits more. Doctors want do brain surgery on Mao. Mao hopings that helps but Mao pretty scared. Havings said this, Mao's condition should NOT be a factor in deciding difficulty of savage raids or accessibility to rewards from those raids. Savage raids should be tuned to be a challenge for the best players. Rewards from savage raids should be meaningful for the participants. Sometimes when life gives lemons, just has to accept that can't has everything. Peoples with severe disabilities has to learn to make do with what thems can get. Even though Mao can't raid, Mao has many MANY other activities in game that Mao can do. Mao has lot mounts, lots glams, all easily obtainable by Mao. Peoples need to be realistic abouts expectations and do what is within their means. One last thing......Go raiders! Beats up them baddies for Mao! Mao will be cheerings from sidelines.

Savage tier is accessible, you just gotta involve yourself with it, if you don't do savage, well no mount for you!

Besides alot of these things that is cool is barred behind massive things.... but would you have been more happy if it was barred behind 10000 hoards found by accident in any of the Deep Dungeons? Because you kind of need to add it somewhere, where it just as much hurts... or behind 15000 commendations or something?

SE needs to stop locking glams and mounts behind raids. I'm sure people have raised this many times, but its worth mentioning again since its suggested the axolotl mount is behind the upcoming savage.



SE will release a good looking glam but only provide the dyable version behind the savages. A mount teased in the live letter is now presumed to be a savage mount? The most visually impressive weapons of the game are behind ultimates.

As it is now, I and many others will have to wait until a couple expansions later when the savages might be doable unsynced. And in the case of Ultimates it will always be an unobtainable dream.

It's always been like that since WoW and many other MMOs.

The rare skin is reserved for the HL PVE raider, if you really want it, you make sure you can do it, otherwise it's not for you.

Endwalker Relics are already being offered in exchange for memoquartz, which takes all the interest out of the skin, which is no longer rare.

Personally, I don't feel like doing HL PvE, so I'll leave that to those who still want to do it.

I sometimes farm Ex when I'm interested.
5 more iLvL isn't going to change much when you just like glam and housing.


If there are no more special rewards for those who do Ultimate and Savage, there will be no interest other than having a rare title and saying: I did it.

I don't like Eureka-style content, but it was an acceptable way of getting a rare skin that even some Savage and Ultimate Raiders didn't want to do.


In short, you don't want to make content to deserve a glam, it's just not for you, no need to cry about it.
