By the time 7.0 comes out, I'm thinking I'll be making a new alt to experience everything again, so it'll be great to play through Stormblood with the trust system as well, curious to see how they changed things.

Do it. Blowing up my old account, recreating with a skipped character, then blowing up that skipped character and starting over with a completely virgin character with a job I know next to nothing about has been some of the most fun I've had so far. ARR is a straight up remaster from what I remember-- Cape Westwind, Praetorium Bread, and Steps of Faith have been major highlights so far.
Sometimes seeing things for the first time the second time is the best way to experience things.

It's literally a 12-minute fight against a dummy and some adds and the only mechanic is to stand to the side and you auto-solve everything
They could've at least tried to incorporate the dragonkillers into the fight but nooooo gotta dumb down everything for the 50 IQ new players.

Sorry you didn't like it. I had a blast, and I'm thrilled I'm not getting that in roulettes anymore.LMAO Steps of Faith

What's funny is that they already did nerf that fight a while after it was launched because it was hard, because I believe you had to hit the dragonkillers and take more care on the adds. They eventually nerfed it so hard that you could kill it without much effort and without using dragonkillers. It was very easy but at least it was fast and kind of fun.LMAO Steps of Faith

After trying it on a couple of alts, I dread the time when I had to do it: it's now a 10-20 minute slog of a fight, with nothing in it being really fun anymore, no more control of adds, no dragonkillers, nothing. It went from an easy but overall fun fight with some fun little gimmicks, to just an interactive cutscene.
Too bad, but I guess I'm a minority so "shrug" that's we get now.
You mean what steps of faith has been since about 3.0? Just because you had to walk with it doesn't make it not a training dummyLMAO Steps of Faith
