Did he assume we were too foolish to take any semblance of complexity? How could such an allegedly open developer act so dismissive towards his own players? The flavor of the jobs I loved so much throughout the franchise were mere husks of themselves. What was once a magical world peeled away to reveal a sterile room of four walls. No imagination, no challenge, only accessibility for the sake of it. I didn't feel welcomed, I felt betrayed.
Maybe WHM heals more idk. But does it matter, if the hardest content doesn't need healers?

Pft look at these scrubs talking about hp and buffs with astro....WHEN THE REAL ASTRO WAS PLAYING YUGIOH AND TRYING TO GET THEM CARDS FOR YOUR TEAM. Bring back old astro make astro hard to use againI want them cooler buffs.

Actually, isn't the "5 seconds damage reduction" a nerf for the dome (Collective Unconscious)? If i remember correctly, it used to be for the duration of the dome before.
Looking at the job guide for this action, it's now quite weird. Dome is still 8 yalms for the regen while the damage reduction is 30 yalms but only 5s? So you've got to be very precise in its use...

No, the dome applied 20s back when Nocturnal Sect existed, since the 'pure barrier split' it's applied the damage reduction effect for an unspecified amount of time, which seemed to be 'until the next server tick', this makes it a flat 5s duration which can be refreshed by channeling the skill, same as Passage of Arms. Just a way to make sure the mit actually stays applied instead of people getting unlucky
And yeh until we get in game and can test otherwise, my assumption is that the regen is still 8y because the patch note specifically refers to the mitigation portion, which is really weird
The game is live and I can confirm that only the defense buff got the 30 yalm treatment.
Can anyone else tell me if their job gauge now has a weird box around it now? It's just astro the other jobs I peeked seem fine.
Also with collective unconscious it seems a little buggy now. I hit the button and it acts like I moved and cancels it despite my hands not being on the movement keys and I did not rotate the camera either.
I think last time that happened, it was a gshade/reshade issue, do you have either of those installed, also idk about the CO thing i'll try it in a sec (timed node) edit: CO seems fine to me, idk what caused yours to fail like thatCan anyone else tell me if their job gauge now has a weird box around it now?
