Everytime I hear people spout out such hot garbage from their mouths with this take, I roll my eyes so hard I look like a zombie.

How ignorant you must be to seriously believe that game studios that make multiple games dont ever use their gains to budget themselves and other projects. Acting as is FFXIV is the only game in the genre that does this.

Also people keep twisting the narrative that the entire FFXIV team worked on FFXVI which isnt true at all.

As if they're using the budget to produce any content in FFXIV. Roll out the recolor enemies, mounts, gear, and any other asset we can re-use boys! Put a new lick of paint on it and call it fresh content! They'll love it! Apparently they can't even afford to keep NA servers running smoothly either with "Backbone server issues." causing weekly crashes. The only hot garbage is coming from the people who huff the copium in defense of this lazy nonsense.
