If you don't want to be part of the world and be antisocial that is your choice. But MMOs are supposed to be about making connections and working together. It is no reason to deprive others of the experience of being part of the world. It's fair game to afk and leave. I for one would take in the game and the scenery.

If we keep catering to this mentality we'll arrive at point where everything is irrelevant and the game plays itself for you. Which, we are dangerously close to already.
