Their opinions are largely irrelevant for that very reason. If they aren't voicing their opinions be they positive or negative, all you can really do is guess. Which has often times bitten SE in the backside when they've done precisely that.

Going by what Taurus posted, which is generally what most people here want, or are at least willing to compromise on, those same players would look at any new changes to come in 7.0 and shrug them off the same way they've shrugged off healer gameplay now. They simply don't have an opinion one way or another. If they're inclined to learn a new DPS "rotation" of sorts, they'll press new buttons. If not, they won't. Which is exactly what players do right now. You see it all the same in casual content where healers throw out useless Medica IIs all the while thinking they're contributing when the Sage using Kera or Physis in between Dosis casts had the whole thing covered. None of that would just change if say, healers returned to their Stormblood iterations.

It really does come down to the more extreme sides, and the dev team scared that giving healers any DPS tools will make Savage far too daunting or difficult for them. Likewise, they also vastly overestimate the healing requirements in this game evident by Yoshida's infamous "Just do Ultimate" response. When Regen healing is so sparse in Dragonsong the best comp was actually Sage and Scholar, that says everything about how out of touch they are.
