I have already told them it was mouse macros. But I thought they can give me second chance, and I won't use them anymore.

I only use mouse macros actually. I am proud of clearing any ultimate without 3rd-part apps. That's why I kept asking supprot center what "PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES" I did. Because I didn't use any 3rd-part apps in game, then, I cannot figure out what PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES will make me to get perma ban.Do not use bot software ala gil farm bots, bard player bots or crafting bots. Because if you get caught then you can say "hasta la vista" to your account. And seriously, i do not believe, that using mouse macro software was the reason for this ban. I guess, the thread starter has used other botting software. Or SQEX has an better bot software detection now.
Cheers
bahahahahahah
Tangentially related but, what if they made crafting not so repetitive and thoughtless that a mouse macro could do it with 100% effectiveness as an actual person. Like is clicking an in game macro button exactly once every 30 seconds and waiting the engaging gameplay that they want to incentivize? I feel like SE puts too much effort in the wrong places - fixing symptoms (people using mouse macros) rather than the actual underlying issue (HQ crafting is horrendously mindless once you have the rotation).
nope they cannot , remember you're paying for a service, so YOU as a customer expect A service in exchange, they cannot come take your money and ban for no reason, speaking as a former lawyer that'll be (to a certain extent) a class action lawsuit, everything complicates when theres money in the middle , different story would be if the game was F2p
well yeah a ToS is not legally bindingnope they cannot , remember you're paying for a service, so YOU as a customer expect A service in exchange, they cannot come take your money and ban for no reason, speaking as a former lawyer that'll be (to a certain extent) a class action lawsuit, everything complicates when theres money in the middle , different story would be if the game was F2p
they can simply first suspend your account without giving you a reason
and then after 30-240 business days of legal procedures they will then tell you what was the reason you got suspended
You're welcome to die on that hill, but to quote the ToS in the ONLY PART THAT IS ENTIRELY BOLDED, UNDERLINED AND IN CALL CAPS:nope they cannot , remember you're paying for a service, so YOU as a customer expect A service in exchange, they cannot come take your money and ban for no reason, speaking as a former lawyer that'll be (to a certain extent) a class action lawsuit, everything complicates when theres money in the middle , different story would be if the game was F2p
Specifically the part I made red. In the thing players explicitly agree to in order to play the game.YOU ACQUIRE NO OWNERSHIP OR PROPERTY RIGHTS IN ANY CHARACTER OR OTHER IN-GAME VIRTUAL GOOD, AND ARE ONLY LICENSED TO USE SUCH CHARACTERS AND ASSETS ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR FFXIV SERVICE ACCOUNT SUBJECT TO THE CONDITIONS SET FORTH IN THE AGREEMENTS. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR FFXIV SERVICE ACCOUNT AND ANY VIRTUAL GOODS AND CHARACTERS DO NOT HAVE ANY MONETARY VALUE. SQUARE ENIX MAY SUSPEND, TERMINATE, MODIFY, OR DELETE FFXIV SERVICE ACCOUNTS, CHARACTERS, VIRTUAL GOODS, OR THE SERVICE ALTOGETHER, AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON OR FOR NO REASON, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE OR LIABILITY TO YOU.
