The amount of complaining you do and the amount of "my word is gold and anyone who likes endwalker is wrong" along with weird obsessions with hating on literally everything about this game.... Sorry if I straight up don't believe you and its baffling to me that you even play this game considering you have never once given any kind of vibe that you even like it.

Criticism is one thing, but your entire time on these forums have been nothing but pure complaining down to the most idiotic things like hamburgers daring to exist in the game.

He has, repeatedly, certain posters simply deflect from it with bad faith discussion points. Accusing him or others of liking the 'wrong' things or conveniently ignoring that they, themselves, often call for the removal of features being praised and enjoyed by those they're arguing with.

To be fair, he can be incredibly dismissive of certain things that others enjoy. In the OP of just this thread, he is putting down people who enjoy slice of life moments in their story, people who enjoy farm-sim style content, and those who have fun with the dress-up side of their character - screenshots/posing character, etc. Despite how he may feel about it being included, a lot of people really enjoy that side of the game and it adds value to the game for some.

I very much hate the "go play other games, this game isn't for you" retort, and I promise you that isn't this, but at some point we all really need to sit down with ourselves and figure out how much we actually do enjoy this game and to decide if it's worth our time and energy. For better or worse, I don't see SE making any drastic changes to how the game is handled and what type of content comes out. It took me years to come to terms with the fact that XIV is what it is. I have a lot of posts on here about things I wish the game would implement, or things I dislike, and while I do think the feedback is important, I probably spent too much of my own time being in denial about the game. XIV is just never going to be that game for me, and that's fine. I do still play now and then, but I feel like at this point a lot of that is just out of familiarity and habit.

Anyway, just to cover my butt as I know how these forums go, none of the above is to say you shouldn't voice your concerns. Absolutely do. I don't know how much of it actually gets carried back to people who matter, but it's still important to get the feedback out there. Just be honest with yourself and your expectations.

Its sad you or anyone has to do that.
You say anything Vaguely against the Criticism, even if you mostly agree with it, and people come at you thinking you are trying to silence them, as if their Criticism Disappears just because you had a Nuanced Take on it.

The issue and Difference here is: Aveyond speaks as if they are "The Voice" speaking on others behalf like "This is not what we want"
That is not a "in my Opinion" statement, and it speaks like you are saying its an Objective Fact. I dont apologize for trying to encourage Proper English, and making yourself Clear.

Meanwhile we have to endure as a handful of posters make baseless claims of majority this majority that which don't get anywhere near as much pushback. Anyone who at this point is still trying to play the semantics game isn't interested in discussing how FFXIV can improve, they just have an issue with those dared to criticize the game they've so heavily tied themselves to.

Which begs the question as to why they would be ok with its obvious decline.

Either you cant read, or you literally ignore people.
Because many of these "handful of posters" have stated things wrong with the game and many decisions made in the game, and have said the game isnt perfect, and even listed a few things they could/should do to improve it.
Nobody is against Criticism about this game.

You are not allowed to say this if you yourself arent just as attached to this game that you go so far out of you way to make multiple "review" threads on a general forum, fan-fictions and making a thread outing your own desperation to want to continue playing this game.

I'm just sitting here waiting for you to finally have your "come to Jesus" moment and actually go play other games rather than focusing on FFXIV.

Dont worry, we have FFXVI. Which we know for sure will be a Great Game.....directed by the same Guy on the game we hate.
Holding my Breath that we will hear FFXIV needs to be like FFXVI.
