I'm not sure why this is a hard concept for some to grasp.

If you enjoy playing the game, then you'd also enjoy replaying it again, or at least this was a thing I used to do constantly when I was a kid.

I'd be far more willing to play through the MSQ repeatedly if the early game wasn't such a slog. Even with the ARR cuts, it's just painful to get through the early game, and I don't feel like dropping a boatload of cash on skips to get to the better expansions should be the answer. You CAN do NG+ on a pre-existing character, but unless you have a job to level alongside it, none of the open world content is fulfilling as you'll just one shot everything.
