Apologies but you are admitting to not having done content before and now doing it? You realize some of us are angry because we did that content when it first came out and thus don't have this cushion to fall back on like you seem to have.If you want to dismiss what I said by calling it "gaslighting" so you don't have to think further, by all means. I am a casual player and I can still find hours a day of things to do if I want to, and for the past few months have. (I still have many classes to level, so just doing all the roulettes alone is already a HUGE chunk of time for someone who isn't 90 everything).
I don't play the game? I have 1000 hours logged in XIV. A lot of which was since Endwalker.
Before I typically just finished the story, levelled WHM and SMN to max and moved on until the next expansion. I'm playing more than ever. Again, way to just talk out of your butt lol.
Can I ask what keeps you subbed? Not trying to get a 'gotcha' moment, I'm just curious what keeps people subbed that seem very unhappy about the game. Housing, friends, sunk cost fallacy, etc. It's interesting to see why people keep paying.
EDIT: Looks like I miscommunicated when I typed I only did the story. I also finished all trial and raid content (including EX in ARR but I as my career got busier I dropped those as I don't have time to dedicate to a static) available at each expansion then took a break when I finished it. Even when I took long breaks, it only takes a week or so to finish the story and outdated raids from old post-expansion patches, so that's hardly why I'm still subbed.
But I can see if someone has never taken a break or very few breaks in 10 years and has everything maxed out, they may be bored if they aren't interested in this game's side content. That said that's still an amazing run for any one game.

For me it's a mix of wanting to play with the friends I have made in game as I have some who are important to me and I want something to do with them and in the past this game had content that would do that.
My apologies then. I would question why the game never had this issue in that run then though. I had taken small breaks here and there before but now I am finding myself just logging in to keep my house/FC house and to play with a dear friend of mine who can't play much other stuff as Playstation locked at the moment due to no computer. I hope that also answers Boblawbla's question. No, that's not what I said. I finished all content available at each expansion then took a break when I finished it. Even when I took long breaks, it only takes a week or so to finish the story and each outdated raid from old expansions, so that's hardly why I'm still subbed.

Also I didn't find leveling any of this time consuming, I just leveled via Wondrous Tails/ Tribal quests on a lot of my jobs and PvP for series rank.
Fixed that for you ^.^ Well honestly I didn't enjoy the Bozja story THAT much but the base EW story was just insultingly terrible.
More on topic, I'm not Zepla's biggest fan but she does echo a lot of points people have made here and that I share myself too. I find myself being able to relate a little with liking how it's easier to get the weapons now but it leaves a huge chunk of content missing, I wasn't always enjoying Bozja (those 15 delubrum runs per weapon was murder) but I spent a lot of time engaged with that content. The rewards weren't nearly as good as Eureka but you could always get something for your time beyond relic progression too. Shadowbringers already felt devoid of content but now that chunk missing too, Endwalker is left with barely anything, same core stuff we've had since ARR, except less dungeons, less beast tribes, and the one and done content that are actually new like Island Sanctuary and Variant/Criterion. Hell in Shadowbringers I spent a decent chunk of time gathering in Diadem, compare that to like Island Sanctuary and it's such a miserable experience, painfully slow with only one gather per node and one item gathered each time so you spend so much time just running around. I kept hoping that with the better tools we'd at least gather 2 items per swing but nope, couldn't even make that rewarding, just the same nodes but now there's a new item there, yay... And of course a new node or two but yeah, just pure misery all around.
