Am I going to get crucified if I say that I wish some end game content was designed like Sea in FFXI?

I don't know if this will help you or not... but I did not play FFXi and I am all for all the varied type of content that we can add..... I'll take any content... anything... And I'll do it with a smile on my face...
the more varied and diverse the content... the better
Just a little, Sea was fine, running all over the place to find if the NM (will) pop/(is) up was the most boring, but Sea like sky, thoses open event was really nice, you can also get into limbus from sea, and divine might from sky, there was instanced content on thoses event also, everyone was happy.

I liked the tiered structure of the bosses.Just a little, Sea was fine, running all over the place to find if the NM (will) pop/(is) up was the most boring, but Sea like sky, thoses open event was really nice, you can also get into limbus from sea, and divine might from sky, there was instanced content on thoses event also, everyone was happy.
All I know is if I log in with 24 people in Crystal Tower and see a hour time limit, I'm peacin out.
(Unless its Nyzul Isle style).

You guys keep comparing this game's "endgame" content with other games that are finished and successfully out for some time. FFXIV is not finished yet, it's being also remade from scratch. What we got at this moment is only content to keep us busy while we choose to stay here and watch the changes coming. Yes, we are paying a monthly fee, yes, most of us have lvl50 jobs and call it endgame. But it's not really, Yoshi-P said clearly it's only so we can have special content not accessable after 2.0 while he changes the game.
Don't get that desperate just now and condemn the system, when it's not even done yet. It's your choice to stay here for the changes or come back for 2.0 and then complain on a real base. But until then, I hope we don't get full sets for the whole server in a month, it should give us something to keep busy until Garuda and all the things to come.
This is so true. It's always stated but nobody listens. Constantly I see people comparing the FFXIV content to things like Nyzul isle and Limbus without taking into consideration that these events were added many years after the release of the game. A good variety of events comes with a good amount of content - you can't expect too much this early (as well as in a temporary game state derp). You guys keep comparing this game's "endgame" content with other games that are finished and successfully out for some time. The current system is working well for my linkshell, we're getting a just reward for the time being put in while having fun mixing it up and joking around as a group for many, many hours a day. What's wrong with everyone else?
