You guys keep comparing this game's "endgame" content with other games that are finished and successfully out for some time. FFXIV is not finished yet, it's being also remade from scratch. What we got at this moment is only content to keep us busy while we choose to stay here and watch the changes coming. Yes, we are paying a monthly fee, yes, most of us have lvl50 jobs and call it endgame. But it's not really, Yoshi-P said clearly it's only so we can have special content not accessable after 2.0 while he changes the game.
Don't get that desperate just now and condemn the system, when it's not even done yet. It's your choice to stay here for the changes or come back for 2.0 and then complain on a real base. This is so true. It's always stated but nobody listens. Constantly I see people comparing the FFXIV content to things like Nyzul isle and Limbus without taking into consideration that these events were added many years after the release of the game. A good variety of events comes with a good amount of content - you can't expect too much this early (as well as in a temporary game state derp).

The current system is working well for my linkshell, we're getting a just reward for the time being put in while having fun mixing it up and joking around as a group for many, many hours a day. What's wrong with everyone else?
