I think we have more Dark light pieces than all the NA linkshells combined on our server, funny man. @28 atm.

Me personally, I'd rather a 40 hour quest that rewards you with a piece of Darklight armor, then doing the same raid over and over for a random drop.
So even if I had to spend 160 hours to get a complete set, I'd take that over the repetition/random system we have now.
60% of the entire population would have full sets by now, no thanks.
wah. i can't get the best armor currently in the game in two weeks, wah.
Sorry, my suggesting was aimed at how to make the process more enjoyable.
And I guess I should put it in perspective, 160 hours is over 2 months of play time for myself.
I'm sure it would rage most players, but I wouldn't even mind if it was possible(0.03%) to discover rare loot while fishing.

What game doesn't require you to repeat the content "two to three hundred" boring farm clears for the best gear?
Games with higher lock-out timers, just to answer your question.
MMOs with a token system? MMOs with longer lock-out timers on dungeons? MMOs with randomized content in dungeons and open world? MMOs with GENERAL BETTER ENDGAME CONTENT DESIGN.
oh you know, just a few...
