Apparently lionesses can grow manes if their hormones shift. Wild, huh. Anyway, if Hrothgar are based on Big Cats (and they are), it stands to reason that they should have a similar level of dimorphism to the Big Cats they are based on, surely? This picture and a previous one in the thread show that the main source of dimorphism in lions at least is the mane. The muscles of the lioness are leaner, sleeker, but she's still very strong so as to aid in hunting. So... male/female Roegadyn dimorphism. Also:
Again, see the examples of the hackjob mod some unethical player made, being put on a femroe body (by a friend, I do not mod or condone modding) instead of the mi'qote body the modder slapped the face on (seriously, why did they put it on a mi'qote it's like they wanted to make it look ugly as hell). And if anyone can say, hand on heart, that they prefer the race in the below pictures, aesthetically speaking, to the femroe-examples, I'll be shocked and slightly confused:
So yeh. I'd want option 1 from the graph, and would reluctantly say 'ok fine i guess' to option 2. As others have said, ideally we'd have both as different clans, but they stopped doing clan differences after... well, ARR. The two clans of Au Ra could have been 'short dainty' for one, and 'the infamous concept art' style fearsome warrior demon-succubus looking for the other. Instead they're direct palleteswaps
Anyone who is asking for option 3, you can find this thing called 'Phial of Fantasia' on the Mogstation, and it lets you select a race called 'Mi'qote' on the character creation menu, I'd advise trying that
