Apparently, sometimes female lionesses can end up growing a mane due to hormonal shifts. Since Hroths are supposed to be based on big cats like lions, tigers, etc. we could look at the dimorphism of the big cat species of the world to see what SE should be aiming for re: female Hrothgar. And this picture tells me, the dimorphism of the lion is vastly centered around the presence of a mane, the 'muscle build' of the female is, yes, leaner and more sleek, but it's not a massive difference. In fact, it's almost like...
