What if they added sub-jobs to ff14

Tbf I feel like they just didn't feel like trying to balance the scion and non scion classes. NGS remaking all the classes and keeping the subclass system was nice

From what I had heard when I was in PSO2 base and they were rolling out the patches to catch up to JP, Scion classes are the result of player feedback and quality of life improvements bundled together to create classes. Etoile wand was my class of choice, and I still jump in sometimes to experience that beautiful flow of combat that it is, and the aesthetic is also something that I just loved and all of it coming together made a great experience for me.

I don't know about the global servers since I played on jp since pso2's release (and also its closed beta) but I'm on the same page as you with Etoile. It was my favorite of the scion classes, it just felt soo good.

Though I wonder if on global release regular classes had the double jump skill since that wasn't added immediately. Was a bit of time of Hero being the only one with it till they gave the normal classes it.

I am pretty sure is was added immediatly to the classes, though I thought it was weird you had to wait until level 40 to get it.
