To be fair if the person paid 17€ for yet another remodel of the in game mount (the robot one, I forgot the name) or even worse, paid 34€ for both, it wouldnt be wrong to laugh at it, it's so mediocre and yet everyone jumps in to buy them in droves no matter the price tag. It's almost like people just buy whatever they put out, no matter what it is, no matter if it's good or not, they just buy it anyway, and this behavior is the reason why we keep getting mog station stuff instead of in game rewards, and why we get them so often, while we cant even get content more than 3 times a year. Why would they ? They can just release mog station stuff every few weeks and make bank on them, and then use that money for other projects
Its slightly because people want to be special. So you see a lot of those people posing in cities with new mogstation glam and run around during hunts with new mount to feel special when they are inspected during first hours of release, before everyone have it. Dunno how we got there, but that is the mentality of todays market.
Again. I dont care about the status of mogstation items. Be they good or bad (im kinda glad its bad, as I have no intention to spend my money on them then), as long as the game is good, I dont care. When I care is, when the game isnt as good as I would hope it to be.
Tldr: whaling keeps degrading the quality of any product because their obsession with completivism creates positive feedback for anything released. Be it one piece outfits that ignore the skin of character wearing it,or overpriced furnitue model swap mod, and other recent weird decisions.
Ifear that the development of other game had negative impact on the quality of 14's post-endwalker stuff.
