My ultimate desire is for everyone to be able to have access to housing. Right now the current system alone doesn’t do that.
To be honest i dont understand how.

Because if i removed the second floor, and simply decored the upstairs. Functionally its the exact same thing as a apartment with extra slots... But that wouldnt be considered housing because its only 1 room?

Which is where my confusion comes from when players say "its not housing" because it is functionally the exact same thing interior-wise. Ok you cant crossbreed or have outside slots. But anything else outside that?

Because to me it seems like people want a plot, but dont have the stones to state that without trying to make roundabout reasons why Apts arnt considered housing despite functionally being exactly the same functionally on the interior.

Also be aware, they have dedicated housers by the nuts, you effectively cannot quit if you dont want to lose your home. Im aware of it, that kinda accures them continued revenue (ive been here since 2014 and housing is a big reason i dont take breaks). Sure they can grant housing to everyone. But well i cant demolish your house to keep you paying...I mean they can.... however, questions of why a player hostile feature exist when its their own instance.

But keeping the houses limited and allowing the to be demolished allows S.E to perpetually monetize a subsection of player who will keep their subs up through thick and thin. Expansion release and 6 month content dryspell to keep their houses. And i am one of those people. Sure, you can give everyone housing. But the profit motive is there to never allow supply to meet that demand.

If players are willing to spend $500 USD for a virtual ingame house in your video game. How much do you think theyll pay to keep their house? All you have to do is login once a month....And you need an active subscription to do that...
