    Do people actually care about this? Maybe I'm weird but I've played several MMOs with instanced housing and I decorated my houses for my own pleasure, not for random people.

    Instanced Housing is quite a popular alternative. Elder Scrolls Online does this and it prevents situations like in FF14 where getting a house can be tougher than in real life.

    Mao enjoys using Mao's house as place for gatherings of friends and FC mates. Is funs to get togethers and chats and do the craftings.

    After Yoshi said flat out that it wasn't for housing, I gave up on island sanctuary being anything but a bad animal crossing diversion. We can't even put all this useless outdoor furniture on it. So disappointing.
    If we got housing attached to it, I'd only ask that friends have an easy teleport option via the friends list.
