Nope, they are more static than Viera, by that I mean that they don't move at all.

I would love some small ear animations for Hrothgar, like rotating your ear when doing scouting animations, or flopping them when embarrassed. But I am resigned to that never happening unless you are a Miquo'te.

Edited to add: We might see some better treatment once they finish with ff16 and the devs that have been moved there are returned to 14.

The weirdest part is that there's no slider for Hroth ears, you just....plop bigger ears (or "shrink" them by taking it away) in the facial feature tab. They are, by all means, just ear looking horns.

Miqo'te already have fully functional ears, I wonder if it would've really been that hard to port them over to the Hroth model, but then again 6.1 exposed what unnecessary mess they made with their ear/heads so....

I truly do not understand how there is still content being released with portions of it simple unavailable to Viera and Hrothgar, especially paid cash shop items. It's wild!

hroth and viera will have been added to the game 4 years ago in 3 months time and they're still doing this trash.

To be clear I am NOT excusing these practices, but they aren't going to overhaul the lack of a Hroth/Viera hat hair system (which yes, as has been pointed out many times is the real problem) for a single hat, cash shop or otherwise. It will be a process because it is not a matter of making one hat function - it's the same amount of work whether it's one hat or every hat. They need to create hat hair models for every original Viera/Hrothgar hairstyle. They currently don't exist which makes fitting this type of headgear impossible.

To be clear I am not telling anybody to be patient. No promise has been made that this will ever be resolved at all and I'm well aware of that, but keeping expectations in check is important. If any headgear tucks hair under it, it won't work on Hrothgar/Viera as a result of the current limitations of the race.

18 dollar paid outfits that don't even work on all races is a complete joke, but it fits with the gear that drops in expansions and patches being incompatible as well.
I love watching the new Live Letters and seeing new gear dropping for crafted, tomes, savage, and dungeons, and knowing 80% of that gear is incompatible with my character and they've done nothing about it for years.
