It's so sad that bullies are allowed to run free while regular players like OP are sent into Mordion Gaol. This game's system needs fixing :/So yesterday I got thrown in Mordion Gaol for apparently breaking the rules about offensive content/language. Okay, but why?
While I'm thankful for the GM who released me, I shouldn't have had to wait for five hours to get released, with no indication that the Gaol is where I am I at. Googling about the place gave me more information than Square Enix did. There was no prompt that I had been jailed, no explanation as to why, and no indication that a GM would come help me. It felt like I had to stay at my computer for all those hours, skip hygiene, not bother to cook, or do anything out of fear of being held in limbo longer. The entire process makes you wonder if they're even going to reply to you. It feels incredibly isolated and alone.
I have spent so much money on this games lifetime. I do not want to lose everything, so this was not only traumatizing, it was incredibly scary.
Would a cop be allowed to arrest you and not tell you why you're being arrested? Of course not, so why isn't Square Enix transparent about WHY? How can I improve my behavior and learn about what I did wrong, and how to avoid strikes against my account, if I never even have clear answers?
What they basically did could have honestly been dealt with in a tell while I was online. This extreme process was unnecessary. The entire Mordian Gaol system needs an overhaul. It's so bad for mental health, and honestly at risk of being incredibly corrupt.
I am disappointed. My experience felt incredibly unethical.
You need fixing.
Why is this forum full weirdos? Seriously: When you consider that we are here in the official forum, it is almost embarrassing. Thank goodness nobody looks in a forum these days to get an overview or an impression of a game.
Well you was put there for a reason, that no one had time to look further in for it for a while is just on your end, it does not break the ToS either putting you there actually you agreed to that they could put you there by agreeing to the ToS, also they view the ticket they goet in, then they look into what it is about and did you indeed break the rules they will put you there... alone the ticket could had been handled hours/days after it was reported in as well.So yesterday I got thrown in Mordion Gaol for apparently breaking the rules about offensive content/language. Don't break the rules and if you do so, accept the The Terms of Service that you may encounter, it is a good system because as long as you are in it, you wont possible cause more harm to other players untill a GM has had the chance to talk with you first, meaning those players experience playing the game wont be tainted.
It is easy to answer you on that, YOU really need to cross the line to get there, it would be naive to think he is not there for a reason, and he said it himself for bad language/words/swearing/demeaning or whatever thing that could sort under that, so yes it is a system that works.
I have never been imprisoned like that in the game, due to know how to behave and further more if I do overstep I am quick to realise it and say sorry to whatever person offended and talk about it.Clearly most people here haven't been there and have no idea how the system is flawed. I should have kept it vague and not given any input to why I was there. Knee jerk responses that curve more in fascination with personal drama, and less to do with the flawed system at hand do not help. They are harming our community. If we don't look at the actual problems with the way behavior is handled, our thriving community will continue to have problems with toxicity.
I have never been there, I will never get put there either, so your reason to yell at people is void.
Also read the ToS about language and foul language bad behaviour and more.
