I mean the lines are him targeting a party member then casting the line, the cones are when he tethers to the monsters outside of the ring.

There's alot of points here so give me a minute:

1) The 2 save situation is...not a big problem, you could argue that it's artificial since it's a million dollar company and they can easily just add more slots, sure. But why do you need more than 2 Orthos groups? Let's say you and some friends play Orthos and one has to take their cat to disney world, fair enough, very nice, but now you have another slot. You can use that one for party finder, after you win/lose/clear Orthos their is little point in keeping it so just delete it. I had a group of friends climbing PotD and we reached ~150, one vanished and we didn't see them for a while, guess what I had to do? Take the L and delete the save. I'm just trying to figure out a scenario where you need multiple saves at any given times.

2)When it comes to no fixed parties past 50 you can see the reasoning why in PotD. Queing the floors that aren't 1/41 are long and hellish, its a very specific, non-roulette duty. After time it only gets hardeer and harder to find people. They can't make trust characters go through it with you since it involves different mechanics than just aoe's (Chests, aggro control, traps, etc). By shrinking the amount to just 30 I think they mitigate this problem, essentially, it's future proofing it.

3)I'm still trying to figure out why someone that is collecting ALL the TT cards is considered a casual. It's a time heavy commitment that requires game knowledge and post game movement. To get to some of the card players you have to clear content that isn't required to complete the story. If someone showed me their binder of all the pokemon cards ever made I would never consider them a casual. But this is just...I just feel like youre missing out how to get certain cards

-Cards are only through bozja, which requires ivalice raids
-Cards are only acquired through the weapon missions, not story related
-Cards are in StB Eureka, so deep that it requires you to level a character to atleast 51, through 4 exploratory zones, the collection of various items throughout each system and the defeat of several bosses(NM's)
-Cards cost <10k GS points, (The largest amount for a card is 1 MILLION GP, I can't remember when I touched that number last)
-Cards only come from placing 1st in multiple TT tournaments, which isn't a casual thing to do
-Cards are bought via gemstones
-Cards are bought via skybuilder scrips

Now compare those with "Finishing 2 dungeon instances solo or with a party" and I really don't get why this is the hardest one or the most 'non-casual' one.
